In order to study the influence of the mechanism with clearance, a kind of projection mechanism is analyzed and simplified into a kind of four-bar mechanism, an nonlinear spring-damp model is established. Then the model considering joint clearance is incorporated into ADAMS and the dynamic simulation is carried out. The simulation results show the dynamic model can be built by using ADAMS and analysed the effects of clearance, and give the basis of mechanism and optimization.
